Refund & Returns Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your Littlefrolic purchase. This policy explains your rights to return or exchange items, how refunds are processed, and under what conditions returns are accepted.


Return Period

You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to request a return or cancellation. After this 14-day window, we unfortunately cannot offer a full refund or exchange unless the item is faulty or defective.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, customers purchasing online or via distance selling have the legal right to cancel their order within this timeframe. If you choose to cancel, you are entitled to a full refund (excluding return postage).


Conditions for Return

To be eligible for a return, the item must:

  • Be unused and in the same condition you received it

  • Be returned in its original packaging

  • Be accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase


Items That Cannot Be Returned

Some items are non-returnable due to their nature:

  • Perishable items (e.g. food, flowers)

  • Intimate or hygiene-sensitive products (e.g. underwear, sanitary items)

  • Hazardous or flammable materials

  • Downloadable software or digital products

  • Gift cards

  • Certain personal care and health products


Partial Refunds

In some cases, only a partial refund may be issued, such as when:

  • A book shows signs of heavy use

  • Sealed media (CDs, DVDs, software, vinyl, etc.) has been opened

  • An item is returned damaged, incomplete, or in a condition not due to our error

  • An item is returned more than 14 days after delivery


Requesting a Return

To start the return process, contact our support team at customerservices@littlefrolic.com. We’ll provide you with a return authorisation and the correct return address.

⚠️ Please do not send returns directly to the product manufacturer unless instructed by our team.


Refund Processing

Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item and notify you of our decision by email. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within a few business days.


Missing or Delayed Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet, try the following steps:

  1. Check your bank account again.

  2. Contact your credit card company — it may take time for the refund to officially post.

  3. Speak to your bank — some financial institutions take longer to process refunds.

If you’ve done all of the above and still haven’t received your refund, please contact us at customerservices@littlefrolic.com.


Sale Items

Discounted items are not eligible for returns unless they are damaged or faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights under the 14-day cancellation period.


Changed Your Mind?

If you’ve had second thoughts or no longer want an item (also known as buyer’s remorse), you may return it within 14 days as long as:

  • The item is unused and in original condition

  • It’s in its original packaging

  • You cover the cost of return postage

❗ Please note:

  • Sale items cannot be returned for buyer’s remorse

  • Return shipping charges are non-refundable

  • The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund


Exchanges for Faulty or Damaged Goods

We replace items free of charge if they arrive damaged or defective. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, email customerservices@littlefrolic.com with your order details and reason for return. We’ll provide instructions and a return address.


Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive store credit for the value of the return. Once received and approved, we’ll issue a gift certificate to you.

If the gift wasn’t marked as a gift or was shipped to the purchaser first, the refund will go to the original purchaser.


How to Return an Item

  1. Contact us at customerservices@littlefrolic.com to request return authorisation and the correct return address.

  2. Package the item securely in its original condition and include proof of purchase.

  3. Return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund unless otherwise stated.

Return shipping rates:

  • 0 – 2 kg: £19.79

  • 2.01 – 4 kg: £30.53

You will be informed of the exact shipping charge during your return request.

If you’re exchanging an item, we may issue a separate payment link for the return postage.


Important Return Guidelines

  • Items must be returned using the instructions provided by our team.

  • You are responsible for securely packaging your return.

  • We cannot be held liable for items lost or damaged in return transit.

  • Returns without prior authorisation may not be accepted.


Recommended Shipping Practices

For high-value returns, we recommend using a tracked service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item without tracking confirmation.
